Paul took a week off of work in early Dec. to get started on the screened in porch.
He got an amazing amount of work done in 1 week! The boys and Tom and DJ helped one day but I didn't get pictures. They helped get the roofing up.
For the entire month of December we were given candy EVERY day at work. A substitute teacher brought us this huge box. We sent it home with Jeff. I didn't eat one bite of candy that we were given!
Decorating for Christmas
We can't go see the lights in Manhattan or Dyker Heights anymore but my co-worker told me about this house where people to to see their lights display. It was fun.
Its not the Rockefellar Christmas tree but it will do.
Christmas Day.
Notice the difference in our breakfasts? No monkey bread for me this year.
The kids read the Christmas story and Daniel led us in some Christmas Carols on the piano.
We drew names again this year. Dakota showed so much enthusiasm for her gift before she even opened it!
She drew Daniel's name.
And DJ drew Jae's name.
