Daniel and I got to visit Nana and Poppaw for about a week. While we were there, we all drove to Louisville to visit my brother and his family. We got to meet my new nephew, Grant. Even though Daniel's not in any of these pictures, he was there!
While we were gone, Paul and Carey painted the steps to surprise me! So much better than the dark red carpet that was on them when we bought the house.
Daniel spent a few days at a local church's day camp in a writing workshop.
I started as a special ed. teachers assistant on August 15th
and got home just in time for the eclipse.

We're going to eat some sweet potatoes this fall and winter!
