Jae moved into his own apartment the first week in September.
These light fixtures and mirrors in the boys' bathroom have been driving me crazy since we moved into the house. I finally found the time to paint them.

And since we were changing things around the house...I talked Paul into buying our very first new couch and loveseat!
We took a trip to Charlotte to visit Ikea. But first we stopped and played some mini golf.
Then home to put the new furniture together.
After 25 years, we have our very first NEW couch and loveseat!
Anniversary flowers
Another project that we've been wanting to get done for a while--taking out the bushes that blocked our view at the end of the driveway.

September 25th was our 25th anniversary and the 27th was my parents 50th anniversary. To celebrate Mom and Dad got us a cabin in the Smokey Mountains for a night.
And we took them out for dinner.
