Florida Vacation

For our vacation this year we took the rv to Florida and stayed at Oscar Sherer State park near Sarasota

Thankfully we didn't see any gators on our bike rides!

My new bike and basket I got for my birthday.  So much nicer than my old 25+yr old heavy, bad gears bike!

No alligators but we saw lots of other wildlife on our bike ride.

We went to see the sunset from different beaches several nights. The first night was definitely the best, though.

The only shade we could find on our picnic island during our kayak trip!

There were so many beaches within about 15 min. of our campground. And they were all different. We visited Siesta, Lido key, North Jetty beach, Caspersen and some others I don't know the names of.

We went on an airboat ride on the Peace River where we DID see alligators but from a safe distance.

I really wanted to see a manatee while we were kayaking but the only ones I saw were on all the signs saying to watch for them and be careful not to scare or hurt them.
