Canyonlands
Daniel was still feeling sick on Wednesday. Thankfully Canyonlands National Park and Arches National Park were not far away from where we were staying and we were able to stop back at the house for lunch and to check on him.
Arches National Park
They recommend making reservations to get into Arches so Paul made them for a couple of afternoons. He and I got to go one day.
That night my throat started hurting. I thought I was getting strep, too. Since we were scheduled to fly home in a few days we decided to test for covid. Daniel tested positive but I tested negative. Since I was starting to feel bad I was pretty sure I had it, too. So Thursday morning we packed up and drove to Las Vegas. We stopped at the entrance to the park to take this picture before leaving.
