This year we went camping in NJ for vacation. The campsite was close to Atlantic City so we went and walked the board walk one day. We also visited a lighthouse and a museum about the history of Atlantic City.
Another day we went back to hang out at the beach.
The boys in their "room" in our new tent Mom and Dad got us. It has 3 rooms. We put all our luggage in the middle room and had our room at the other end. It kept us completely dry during the rainstorms, too!
Sorry this picture is sideways but this is Paul and Jae. Daniel and I hung out on the rocking chair pavilion and watched them ride. The rocking chair was my favorite ride!
I was happy to see that not too many tomatoes had been lost while we were away. And I baked bread one day before it got too hot to turn on the oven.

Paul took Jae and a friend from Crossroads and his son backpack hiking/camping last Friday night.
(Sorry the pciture is so small. It was taken on a camera phone.)

They got drenched but had a great time. Jae and his best friend, Stefan, had a blast and Paul and Stefan's dad had some good talks. It was the first time Stefan and his dad had done anything so "rustic"! Nobody got much sleep because of the amazing thunder storm that hit during the night. They were very glad no one else was sleeping in the lean-to! The boys started out in the tent but ended up in the lean-to with thier dads before the night was over.
Paul and Daniel will go hiking and camping labor day weekend.
This week is the boy's last week of swimming lessons and we're getting ready to go back to school and normal fall activities. Jae starts soccer practice this week and we're really excited that his coach is a friend of ours and he will have friends on his team. Paul is coaching Daniel's team again and they'll start practices soon, too.
