This year we had our Angel Tree party in the cafeteria of the high school where Crossroads meets on Sundays. Jae helping set up for the party.

More families had said they were coming but because of the predicted blizzard several of them didn't come.
The boy on the right is one of the children our family sponsored this year. He's really sweet and gave me a hug!Housing update: We are busy trying to secure an apartment for the first week in January. There are several possibilities but the owners' aren't sure they want to rent to someone who won't commit to being there for at least a year. We're hoping to have one secured before Christmas. Please pray that we can get this done quickly so we can relax over Christmas. Hopefully my next blog post can include pictures of our new, temporary home!
Tomorrow night several from Crossroads will go door to door (trudging through the mounds of snow from last night's storm) hanging door hangers inviting the neighborhood to our Christmas Eve service. Please pray that many new people will come and make connections with Crossroads regulars and that all who come will give generously to give the gift of a well to a community in Nigeria.
Merry Christmas (again!)

Looks like a nice Angel Tree party, even though the snow kept some away. How many inches did you get?
