During the same week that we moved into our house, we closed on our rental property. This house is closer to downtown and Greenville Technical College. The whole Greenville area is a rental area but this area is especially. There are a few stores and restaurants within easy walking distance.
This is a 2 family house. The front door opens to the apartment on the right side of the house, which is (sort of) a 2 bedroom.
The entry to the apartment on the left side of the house is on the left side and has a small deck. It's a one bedroom but has the largest kitchen.
It took us several months to get all the painting and repairs completed and to be ready to rent the apartments. But by 2 hours after listing the apartments online we had about 4 showings scheduled! For the next week, I worked full-time answering phone calls and emails and showing the apartments. By the end of the week we had both apartments rented to 2 single ladies. We are hoping they stay for a long time!
