January

Paul starts his new job with Ryan Homes on January 29th.  A requirement of the job is that he drives a truck.  We're really Southerners now!
It's hard to believe that Daniel is 16 years old now!
The pie is half eaten because he celebrated with Grandma and the Paulder's the day before. Grandma made the pie.  I was sick and couldn't go so didn't get any pictures that day.

His gifts this year were all money for the Israel trip we're planning for this summer.  Paul and Daniel are doing a rite of passage program.  They are reading books, meeting weekly to discuss what they are reading,  working out and training for a big race this fall and Paul wanted to end the program with a big trip for the 2 of them.  He was thinking camping out West or something but when he asked Daniel what he would like to do he said "I know it's probably too much, but I'd love to go to Israel and see where Jesus lived."  Wow!
Paul and I have been planning for years for a big trip to celebrate our 25th anniversary this fall.  Well, that big trip is going to be to Israel.  Jae's trying to decide if he's going to go or not.  Both boys need to help pay for their way.
Daniel also had a friend party the following weekend.  Two of the friends he invited weren't able to make it.  But Fabian and DJ went bowling with he and Paul and then Fabian, Paul and Daniel went out for Chinese food for lunch.  They came back to the house to play video games and have banana cream pie, Daniel's new favorite desert.
