Baptisms in the Jordan River - June 18 - Part 2

 We've entered Palestine on the West Bank.

 Border.  That road leads to Jordan.

 This is one of two places where you can actually access the Jordan River.  This area was closed until the 2000's.  The Israeli/Jordanian border runs down the center of the river.  The Jordanians opened it first.  It was previously a mine field.  

John the Baptist preached in this area and Elijah walked across the Jordan on dry land and went up to heaven here (somewhere near here) (2 Kings 2)

 The group that we are traveling with are mostly from a church in Oregon.  They had an "Affirmation of Baptism Service" and many of them were baptized.

 But these two were being baptized for the first time.

 Blaze was the other teen on the trip.  He's 16 years old and his dad is baptizing him.
