July 2013 Vacation part 3 Orick, CA

 Our next stop was Orick, CA to visit Grandpa Curtis and the Red Woods.

 

 Grandpa runs a snack shack right outside the Red Wood National Park

 Elk are everywhere!

 Grandpa Curtis bought this inn and is planning to fix it up and open a restaurant.

 Next door is the Snack Shack.

 Grandpa Curtis asked Paul to play and sing with him at a BBQ that he performs at regularly.

 The elk seemed to like the music!
