November 2012

I am aware that the date of this blog post is September 2014 and I've written the title as "November 2012".  It's not a mistake.  I haven't added anything to this blog since October 2012.  I also haven't printed many pictures or scrapbooked much so the only record of what's happened for the past 2 years is on my computer.  I've decided to make the blog our family photo album.  So I've got some catching up to do!

 Ok.  So I forgot how blogspot uploads pictures in the opposite order than I chose them!  So these are backwards in order.  We went to Ky for Thanksgiving in 2012 and got to meet my new niece, Piper.  She has since been given the nickname "Pipes".

 Before Thanksgiving we had a missional Sunday at Crossroads where we split into groups to perform different Hurricane Sandy clean up projects. We met at the Storefront for a time of worship and communion and then split up. One group went to work on some church member's and friend's houses that had been damaged by the storm.  The group the boys and I worked with went to a local church to help sort donations to be given to affected families.

 The boys helped load the boxes and bags of donations in to trucks and vans to be delivered.....when they weren't eating donuts and goofing off!
