July 2014

My garden really took off in June and looked like this by July.

I completed my first baby blanket.  One for Calista's new baby.

July was a busy month for the boys.  Jae started a 6 week internship with BCAP the week after school ended.  He went to work every day of the week.  Daniel had a week at church camp in PA, a week of VBS and 2 weeks of day camp at New Ground.  On his one free week of the month we got to go to Coney Island.

Paul led a mission trip in Mexico City in July.  While waiting in the cell phone lot at JFK to pick him up, the ice cream truck came!  We thought it was funny to see the ice cream truck at the airport.
We gave Jose a ride home from the airport and he insisted on a picture of me wearing the sombrero he'd bought in Mexico.  It was heavy!
Daniel asked to help me in the nursery one Sunday.  After a little while he told the kids he was tired and it was time for a nap and he laid down on the rug.
Bradley wasn't too excited about the nap idea.
 Caleb wasn't too sure either...

After a while Daniel got up but these three were all still pretending to nap! :-)  After the kids got picked up Daniel wanted to leave but I told him he had to help tear down and put the room back together.  He said, "Mom, I thought working in the nursery would be easy but it was hard work!"
The fruits of the garden!
