I had surgery (a partial hysterectomy) in early May.  It was supposed to happen in January and had to be postponed because of insurance issues.  Then it was supposed to happen in April and I got sick.  Finally, we were able to go through with it the beginning of May.  Mom and Dad came to help out during the surgery and afterwards.  They were here for Mother's Day and my birthday.

 By the week after the surgery, I was able to walk down the steps to the backyard and play around with my camera.  Paul got me a photography book for my birthday.

 All he asked for was money to buy an XBox.

He had a friend party at the park but I wasn't well enough yet to go.  I'm hoping Paul took some pictures with his phone.  I'll have to add them later.

 We had 6 baptisms in May!  Instead of Coney Island we had them in an inflatable pool at the Storefront.
